Did you know?

Why are some soles more slip-resistant than others?

 

Among other factors, different sole compounds and tread designs create different coefficients of friction. Therefore, some soles have a better grip than others.

 

Are all 'safety shoes' slip-resistant?

 

No. Only shoes labelled as 'slip-resistant' have slip-resistant features with varying degrees of effectiveness. Shoes from SFC shoes have been proven to beat industry standard by over 100%.

 

Does 'oil-resistant' mean the same as slip-resistant?

 

No. Generally, shoes labelled as 'oil-resistant' refers only to the shoe's upper materials. However, SFC shoes combines oil- and slip-resistant features for maximum safety, which means you can walk with confidence on both wet and greasy or oily surfaces.
