Join Us in Something Really Special
Later this month -- National Poetry Month -- KHC will announce the new Poet Laureate of Kansas. Recently, Lon Frahm, farmer, businessman, and KHC board member from Colby, donated $10,000 in support of the Poet Laureate of Kansas program. Will you help us match Lon's gift?
Your donation to the Kansas Humanities Council in support of this program will:
- Make Poet Laureate of Kansas events available to communities statewide.
- Guarantee that Poet Laureate events are free and open to the public.
- Keep the humanities available as a public resource for all.
- Help secure the future of the Poet Laureate of Kansas program.
"The Poet Laureate of Kansas program will benefit the entire cultural life of Kansas and as a 6th generation Kansan, I think that's important," shared Lon. We do too and hope you agree.
Donations in any amount can be made online or by mail:
To give online: click here to give safely and securely through the Network for Good giving site. Be sure to type "Poet Laureate" in the Designation field.
