The National Endowment for the Humanities and the State of Kansas help fund Kansas Humanities Council grants and programs. Please thank your legislators and members of Congress for their support. KHC also relies on donations from people like you.  Please thank the Friends of the Humanities who support KHC.
Connect the Dots

Each dot on the map connects Kansans with the humanities, a connection rich with ideas and powered by the spirit of community.

Will you help the Kansas Humanities Council raise $40,000 this fall in recognition of its 40th anniversary? Your donation today will help KHC continue to reach new audiences, sustain existing programs that organizations depend on, and provide essential matching funds for the NEH "Gift and Match" opportunity. Last year, with funding support from both private and public sources, KHC was able to:
  • Bring the Smithsonian Institution's exhibition, The Way We Worked, to Kansas.
  • Partner with the Eisenhower Presidential Library's Kansas Town Hall program.
  • Become the new home for the Kansas Poet Laureate.

In addition, more than 100 Kansas communities benefited from 500+ humanities events that included speakers, book discussions, grant projects, museum exhibitions, reader's theater events, symposiums, and film premieres. That's a lot of bang for your buck.  Click on the DONATE button to the left of this message to donate safely and securely through Network for Good.
