Mission Central pilots CNM-pact
™
technology service
analytics_computer.jpg Mission Central is proud to be participating in the pilot program of CNM Connect's new CNM-Pact™ technology service.

The new service utilizes affordable, web-based technology to give non-profits the ability to efficiently and effectively track, analyze, evaluate, and report program performance. Mission Central was chosen as one of 10 North Texas non-profits to participate in the pilot program, which was made possible by a $200,000 gift from Alliance Data.

By participating in this program, Mission Central is working with CNM Connect consultants to develop a strong evaluation plan and evaluation protocols for our Community Resource Center. With these in place, we can optimize our impact on the community, as we continue to empower our neighbors in need to improve their own quality of life.
St. Vincent's School donates books to Village Library
Over the past few years, Mission Central's Village Library has been blessed by the staff and students of St. Vincent's School. They have hosted holiday parties for our students, provided them with encouragement and gifts at different times of the year, and hosted the much-anticipated end-of-school party for students and tutors. We were sad to learn that the school closed at the end of the school year, but honored to receive one last gift from them. The school owned a complete set of "Journeys" books for grades 2-5 and donated them to the Village Library at the end of this school year. As these are the same books used by the HEB School District, this donation will allow our students to have access to the same materials they have at school when they are at the Village Library. This will help their tutors ensure that they have a successful school year.

Thanks to St. Vincent's School for their dedicated support of the Village Library. We appreciate you and will miss you.
North Texas Giving Day set for September 22
Mark your calendars for the 8th annual North Texas Giving Day on September 22!

On that day, gifts of at least $25 made to Mission Central from www.northtexasgivingday.org will be multiplied by bonus funds and prizes. (Learn more about bonus funds and prizes here.)

Last year, generous donors around the world raised $33 million for 2,020 North Texas non-profits on North Texas Giving Day. It's a fun day when you and your neighbors can join together to make our community a better place.
