Shop and "Smile" to support Mission Central
Do you ever shop on Amazon.com? If so, with a few easy clicks, your everyday purchases can support Mission Central.

Visit www.smile.amazon.com the next time you want to purchase something from Amazon.com. Log in with your regular Amazon.com password, and choose Mission Central as the charity you want to support. Then, search for and purchase your item as you would from Amazon.com.

Every time you make a purchase from Amazon Smile, .5% of the purchase price will be donated to Mission Central. The selection and prices of items you find on Amazon Smile are exactly the same as on Amazon.com. Once you've chosen Mission Central as your charity, you simply need to start your purchase from www.smile.amazon.com each time you make a purchase, and we will receive the benefit.

Not an online shopper? Remember you can also support Mission Central when you shop at Tom Thumb or Kroger. Learn more on our website.
Mission Central turns 20
In March of 1996, Mission Central's sign first hung outside of our original home on Mary Drive. That means that as of this month, we have been serving the Hurst, Euless, and Bedford communities for 20 years!

Stay tuned for news on a celebration we are planning for later in the year. But, we need your help now! If you have any old pictures, brochures, or memorabilia from our early years, we'd love to have a copy. We're also trying to find out more about our volunteers from the early years. Were you a volunteer in 1996? What about 2006? Who did you volunteer with and what did you do? We'd love for you to share your special memories and experiences with us by sending an email to info@missioncentraltx.org.

Thanks to everyone who has supported Mission Central these past 20 years. With your help, we have empowered thousands of people in need to improve their own quality of life.
Coat of Many Colors featured at HEB Chamber EXPO
Earlier this month, visitors had the chance to learn about Mission Central and our Coat of Many Colors Resale Shop at the HEB Chamber EXPO. We featured clothing, accessories, antiques, and seasonal items that are available for sale at the store. We learned that many people knew about the store, but were unaware that every dollar they spend at the store is used by Mission Central to serve our neighbors in Hurst, Euless, and Bedford. We loved the opportunity to share more information about the important work of the Coat of Many Colors! Special thanks to volunteer Janice Vickery for helping staff the booth that day.

We'll also have a presence at the Hurst Senior Center's Business, Health, and Benefits Expo on March 31st and at TCC's SpringFest on April 13th. If you're attending either of these events, please stop by and say 'hello.' We also hope you'll encourage others to visit with us to learn about our services and volunteer opportunities.

Do you know of other opportunities to share information about Mission Central in our community? Please contact Director of Volunteer and Community Relations Catherine Hollis with information about your opportunity. We're happy to visit with your church, civic, or corporate group.
