Earlier this month, visitors had the chance to learn about Mission Central and our Coat of Many Colors Resale Shop at the HEB Chamber EXPO. We featured clothing, accessories, antiques, and seasonal items that are available for sale at the store. We learned that many people knew about the store, but were unaware that every dollar they spend at the store is used by Mission Central to serve our neighbors in Hurst, Euless, and Bedford. We loved the opportunity to share more information about the important work of the Coat of Many Colors! Special thanks to volunteer Janice Vickery for helping staff the booth that day.
We'll also have a presence at the Hurst Senior Center's Business, Health, and Benefits Expo on March 31st and at TCC's SpringFest on April 13th. If you're attending either of these events, please stop by and say 'hello.' We also hope you'll encourage others to visit with us to learn about our services and volunteer opportunities.
Do you know of other opportunities to share information about Mission Central in our community? Please contact Director of Volunteer and Community Relations Catherine Hollis with information about your opportunity. We're happy to visit with your church, civic, or corporate group. |
