River Cities Credit Union Grand Opening
River Cities Community Credit Union was established in 1958 and is committed to improving the financial well-being of our members. Membership is available to anyone who lives, works, worships, or is a member of an organization in Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, Jackson, Jefferson or Leavenworth counties. "Local People Helping Local People" is the credit union motto and we strive to put that into action. We are collecting for area charities this holiday season and hope to write some big checks in December. River Cities recently purchased the building at 513 Commercial Street and moved October 23rd.
Join us for our Grand Opening and After Hours on November 10th from 5:00pm-6:30pm. Help us celebrate with hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. River Cities Credit Union is located at 513 Commercial St, Atchison, KS 66002.

Mall Christmas Tree Lighting
Kick off the holiday season with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in beautiful Atchison next Thursday, November 19th at 5:30pm! The event this year will include the Atchison Childcare and St. Benedict's youth singing groups, hot chocolate served by the Girl Scouts of Troop #8347, and popcorn provided by Favorite Things' Joe Noll. For the Grand Finale, the St. Benedict's band will play "Here Comes Santa Claus" as Santa arrives in spectacular fashion and the lights go on! It's a wonderful evening to be a part of this community. The holiday season is a time for giving. We ask that attendees bring canned good donations. Items brought will be donated to local area food pantries with First Christian Church and the Salvation Army. And, for every 10 canned goods donated, you will receive a ticket to enter into our $25 Chamber Gift Certificate drawing! We truly hope you will join us starting at 5:30 for entertainment and the flip of the switch to light up the Mall!
