Evolutionary AstrologySeptember - Expanding Awareness Beyond Ego
By Himat Kaur

Virgo's Shadow and Gifts With August's solar journey, the sign of Leo and its planetary ruler, the Sun, are reflected in the gravity of our individual ego-structures and in the powerful radiance of self-expression. When we act, there are ripples of creation around us. In Virgo, the earthy sign after Leo, the effects of our self-expression are observable in a way that we can more objectively see. Read Entire Article

Yogi Bhajan Story - Gerrymandering -Hari Jiwan Singh with Yogi Bhajanby Hari Jiwan Singh

The Master's way of thinking went beyond hope to an understanding of why you have hope. He believed that if his service to his Guru were pure, his Guru would take care of him no matter what. He had earned that status. And it is a great status. It is a status of faith and living in God's Will, knowing the Guru has his back. That meant he could live life joyously, confidently and consciously. This protection from the Guru meant that he was always prepared for what life brought, whether it be a challenge or a comfort.  And he never judged whether life brought peace, comfort or calamity. He enjoyed it all. Therefore, nothing could harm him. This is what the Master meant when he said that "everything will be O.K."  Read Entire Story

Computer Corner - Cutting Cord
By Guruka Singh Khalsa
Many members of the Sangat have asked me about alternatives to satellite and cable television. Everyone wants to cut costs and everyone likes to watch the TV shows and movies they like at whatever time they wish. There are lots of ways to do this these days. There's free over-the-air televison - just put up an antenna that can receive digital TV and you can watch all the network programming for free. You can even record it (like a Tivo or DVR) if you have a media PC. Read the entire article >
numerology image Numerology Forecast for September 2013: Heightened Sensitivities
By Nam Hari Kaur
September unfolds a time of heightened sensitivity in the areas of love, the home, and our perception of justice and fair play. If someone forgets to unload the dishwasher and pick up your favorite food at the market all in the same day, you might start thinking, "This is so unfair, how could he/she not love me anymore?"

Yogi Bhajan

"Call on the One who answers all. Reach out and touch the very One in you. You are in form, praise the Formless, with your innocence and your prayer. Speaking is the language of men. Whispering is the language of love. Silence is the language of angels. Go deep into your inner silence and call on Him who answers all prayers."

Roasted Beets Recipe - How to Roast Beets
Roasted Beets Recipe - How to Roast Beets
Food for Health  Note from the Chef: It looks like way too much salt, but you don't eat the salt. You can brush it off, or peel it off after roasting. Using this much salt brings out the natural sweetness and flavor in the beets. It's a popular method for roasting root vegetables.Try it and see!

The Bazaar - A Part of our Culture - by Kudrat Kaur null

I first became interested in Bazaars during my 25 years with Yogi Bhajan.  He loved shopping, and shopping the Santa Fe Flea Market Bazaar was one of his favorite Friday afternoon pastimes. He loved to sit at the "Seret & Sons" booth there, and while enjoying the bargaining & purchasing of many beautiful things, he also loved to meet the people.  He became friends, a spiritual teacher and advisor to many people who frequented it.
