Dear JFCS Friends,  

 

We have good news to share with you! Jewish Family & Child Service (JFCS) and Cedar Sinai Park (CSP) have decided to consolidate administrative and other services. With this move, all human services will be housed under one organization, resulting in greater operational efficiencies, cost savings and expansion of future services. JFCS and CSP each will keep its separate tax exempt and nonprofit identity, and each will continue to rely on community support and funding. But our collaboration makes us stronger, more stable and better able to serve our clients and continue our common legacies. This consolidation has had the full approval and support of the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland and they were instrumental in making this consolidation become a reality.

 

JFCS and CSP each have a long history of providing high-quality social services to the most vulnerable people in our community. Our commitment comes from shared core Jewish values that guide us to serve those in need. Together, we'll continue to "go the extra mile" to serve our clients. We'll be better together.

 

Together, we're also planning to grow. Our collaboration will enable us to develop new and innovative approaches and improve our community programs and assistance to clients at all of life's stages. Rest assured that we will always be there to serve families and individuals at critical times in their lives.

 

Together, we are a family of the best of social service agencies. We can do our work better together. We will continue to communicate with you and welcome your suggestions, best thinking and support as we move forward.
