Problem-Solving Courts in Lake County

The Nineteenth Judicial Circuit currently has three Problem-Solving Courts - Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and the newest addition Veterans Court. The mission of the program is to reduce crime, enhance public safety, and reduce jail populations by rehabilitating offenders and providing treatment for the underlying problems of their criminal behavior. County Update: Lake Michigan Water Allocation 
Lake County is currently working on bringing Lake Michigan water to the communities of Lake Villa Lindenhurst, Grandwood Park and Fox Lake Hills. Watch this video to learn about the importance and benefits of bringing Lake Michigan water to these areas.

 
Citizens Police Academy 
The Lake County Sheriff's Office is now accepting applications for the semi-annual Citizens Police Academy. The academy is scheduled for Thursday evenings (6:30 - 9:30) April 3 -June 5. For more information, visit the Lake County Sheriff's Facebook page.

Doing Good Deeds for YOU! 
The 19th Judicial Circuit Court and the Affordable Housing Corporation of Lake County recently launched a new mortgage foreclosure mediation program. In this video, the Lake County Recorder of Deeds interviews program representatives for an in depth look at this topic. Early Voting 
Every voter has the convenient in-person early voting option at their local site where current and valid government-issued photo ID is required. Early voting begins on Monday, March 3, and is offered Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Early voting ends Saturday, March 15.
