Giant Love Heart Cupcakes

Everyone loves Love Hearts don't they? They are very popular as personalised wedding favours these days so why not go that step further and make your own giant Love Hearts. The trick is to cover your cupcakes with the gorgeous Beau Flavoured Sugarpaste as it comes in delicious candy floss, peppermint, sherbet lemon and orange fizz flavours to name just a few.  Pipe a love heart and your own personal message on to the cupcakes with a No.2 Writing Tube.  Either display in a Cupcake Box or just tie a matching ribbon around them all and leave for the lucky person to find them. 

A Bouquet of Sugar Flowers

I love this little cupcake with its simple but very effective bouquet of sugar flowers. Just roll up tiny strips of coloured sugarpaste to create the roses, then cut mini leaves & stems to finish off your bouquet. This is something even the children could have a go at for Mummy or Daddy.

Lace Heart Embossers

This Textured Lace Heart Embossing Set is exclusive to Cake Craft World for Valentine's Day and absolutely easy peasy to use.  They are non-stick so no need for any greasing or dusting of the surface. Simply roll out some sugarpaste, press the embossed sheet over the top and cut out the shape you require. Here I have used the Reversible 6 Piece Circular Cutter Set for the top of the cupcakes and the  Set Of 6 Pink Plastic Heart Cutters for the heart decorations.  To finish, decorate them with sugar pearls or for an all over pearlised effect, lightly spray with the fabulous Edible Pearl Lustre Spray.  

Candy Kisses

Valentine's Day is all about the one you love.  Whilst these sexy lips would look great in pink and red, why not make them in your man's favourite football team colours?  This is made possible by using Candy Melts.  You simply melt the buttons in a microwave (add a bit of vegetable oil to make them pour easily), pour them into the 3 Cavity Lips Lollipop Mould (not forgetting to lay a Lollipop Stick in the groove) and then leave to set.  When they are ready, you can decorate them using pretty Ribbons or spray them with Edible Pearl Lustre Spray.  They are quite wide but fit perfectly into Cellophane Bags as a gift.
