A car transmission consists of as many as 300,000 parts.KIA Motors, located in Korea, manages their traceability program on their engine and transmission parts using 2-D Data Matrix direct part marked (DPM) codes.
KIA Motors deployed Cognex barcode readers to its 6-speed transmission production line and achieved 99% read rates.

 New 2200 Series LPZ Conveyors
Fits under machinery and other tight spots
 Dorner's new 2200 LPZ / Z-Frame Conveyor comes with one or two pivot points and features an extremely low profile to fit under machinery or any other tight spots.
The advantage of the 2200 LPZ is that its sleek, narrow profile enables it to be positioned under machinery where other conveyors wouldn't fit, making it ideal for part removal and product handling in packaging, metalworking, automation, medical, pharmaceutical and other general manufacturing applications. The pivot points on the conveyor provide added flexibility as it can be configured in either Z-frame, horizontal-to-incline and nose-over positions.

 RCS3 ROBO Cylinder with Load Cell
Servo press compatible
 The RCS3 is a compact and low-thrust rod type actuator that can even be used for simple pressing. The high-precision position control enables easy adjustment of the push force and the position control.
The servo press specification has been expanded. With a load cell equipped as a standard feature, precision push force control is now possible, which is typically difficult for oil-hydraulic equipment.
RCS3 side-mounted motor rod types have been added, allowing you to select from a 200N to 50000N range. The development of a large variety of models allows you to pick models that suit your applications. High-precision loading repeatability of ±0.5% is possible using the feedback data from the dedicated load cell installed in the actuator.
