RFID will be exhibiting at The Assembly Show where they will be featuring their UHF 915Mhz Ultra High Frequency RFID solutions .
 Tags at this frequency don't need to incorporate a hard copper coil which is much less difficult to manufacture versus 13.56 MHz and 125 KHz versions. This technology allows for hundreds or even thousands of tags to be identified at the same time thanks to a feature known as anti-collision, at much greater distances, 10' with a single Reader Antenna and 20' between two Reader Antennas.

Dorner Customer Application
For a recent application, a customer looking to improve automation for their pharmaceutical packaging line employed the use of Dorner conveyors. With a broad range of products they were able to use a combination of several different types of conveyor technology, including plastic chain for curves, friction inserts to grip packages on inclines, and both belted and plastic chain aluminum frame conveyors. To ensure accurate product routing, an indexing servo motor was utilized with photo eyes and other automation controls. The majority of the packaging line is overhead freeing up valuable floor space below the process. |
