Take a fun-filled ghost tour combined with some regional history, and you've set the stage for this weekend's exciting East Hill Cemetery Ghost Walk!  The tour will be led by people in period costumes, and will feature visits to the graves of some of Bristol's most prominent, historic figures such as Joseph Anderson and General Evan Shelby.  Sponsored by the East Hill Cemetery board of directors, the ghost walk will be held at 9 PM on Oct. 23-24.

East Hill Cemetery was established in 1857, with sections for Confederate soldiers and veterans.  Among its graves are founders of the city and Civil War soldiers, as well as Revolutionary War General Evan Shelby.

Admission to the East Hill Cemetery Ghost Walk is $5, and all proceeds will be used for continuing maintenance of the historic cemetery.  For additional information, please call 423.797.1820.
