Col. Lance Dawson will be in command of overall Union forces at the 150th anniversary Battle of Blountville Reenactment slated for September 6-8, 2013 at historic Blountville, TN.
Col. Dawson served in the U.S. Army as a Commissioned Officer, and has since participated in reenactments for the past 30 years. He has served in numerous command, brigade and battalion level assignments. He is current Commander of the Army of the French Broad River. He formerly served as Commander and is an active member of the 79th New York Infantry, Co. A. He also served as Commander of the 15th U.S. Infantry, Co. D, and was a founding member of the 8th TN Infantry, Co. E., U.S. Col. Dawson also served as a member of both the 59th TN Infantry, CSA, and the 1st TN Infantry, CSA.
