MELISSA MANCHESTER
Better hurry for this one! Hear the one and only Melissa Manchester, appearing on September 14th, 2013, at the Paramount Center for the Arts in downtown Bristol, TN.

Born in the Bronx to a musical family, Manchester studied piano and harpsichord at the Manhattan School of Music at age 15. By 1971, she had become backup singer for Barry Manilow and Bette Midler, before releasing her debut album, "Home to Myself", in 1973. In 1978 and 1979, Manchester was nominated for a Grammy and received the Grammy Award in 1982 for Best Female Vocalist. In 2010, she co-created and starred in the five-time Ovation Award nominated ballroom dance spectacular Fascinating Rhythms at the Rubicon Theatre.

Tickets for the Sept. 14 appearance are $35 for Adults, $31.50 for Seniors and Students, and $28 for Students with ID. Groups of 10 or more are $30.00. Tickets may be purchased by contacting the Paramount Center for the Arts at (423) 274-8920 or by purchasing online at www.etix.com.
