DOWNTOWN KINGSPORT PAYS IT FORWARD!

Wow, how often does this happen! As a thank you to the community for supporting Downtown Kingsport through the recent flood crisis, participating merchants plan to pay it forward by paying customers' tax at Downtown Kingsport Association's next event.
Downtown Kingsport merchants were thrilled with the turnout of "Lift Up Downtown Kingsport," which helped many local businesses bounce back from the devastating flood crisis last month. In the spirit of thanks, DKA will host "Downtown Kingsport Pays It Forward" on Saturday, August 17th, from 11 AM to 5 PM sponsored by Domtar. Come shop, save and donate with us and receive a token of our gratitude as participating merchants offer to pay your tax on purchases made during the event. And stop by one of our unique little bistros for a cup of coffee!
Along with the generous offer from Downtown Kingsport merchants, Broad Street and Market Street will be filled with activities and entertainment for our customers and guests, including inflatables, bubble land, face painting and more fun family activities. DKA also plans to collect donations of school supplies and other back-to-school items for children in need in our community. Donations can be made via barrels placed around Broad and Market Streets.
