HOT BRISTOL NIGHT CAR SHOW

"In the Summertime when the weather is fine..."  No, no, that's Mungo Jerry! What were we thinkin'?  Actually, we're headed for the Hot Bristol Night Car Show coming to downtown Bristol on Friday, August 9.

Hosted by the Appalachian Region of the AACA, the event will feature cars of yesteryear!  Last year there were almost 300 vintage cars, and even more are expected at this year's event! The gates from Volunteer Parkway/Commonwealth Avenue onto State Street, which will be closed to normal traffic, will open at 5 PM, and the show will run from 6 PM to 9 PM. Trophies will be awarded for Best of Show, 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The $10.00 entry fee for cars will gain admittance to and parking on State Street, a registration form, a 50/50 ticket (last year's winner took home $400!), a dash plaque, judging for the trophies, and a chance to win $100!

Admission for the general public is free! So come out and join us for another great Hot Bristol Night! For more information, call Jamey Rector, President of the Appalachian Region of AACA, on 423-383-2322 or Sid Oakley on 423-764-7465.  Be sure to also visit our Newsletter Archives
