How to reboot after dealing with a toxic person? Watch this week's SSTV!
Has this ever happened to you? You walk away after meeting someone at a party or networking event, and all of a sudden you feel less excited about your own life and more critical of yourself, you may even feel downright inadequate and all around "EWWWWWW!!!" You can't put your finger on it because when you replay the "perfectly fine" conversation it didn't seem weird or strange. You imagine that maybe you're overthinking it but you still feel off your game.
I liken those toxic interactions to low grade food poisoning, the food looked fine and even tasted ok, but as soon as you took a few bites, something felt "off." Even worse, you spent the rest of the night paying for it.
Well it's the same with toxic interactions when we indulge even for a few minutes with a what I call a "Slimer." After being Slimed we walk away feeling upset, off, inferior and we often judge ourselves.
Just like slime is an invisible film that is odorless, colorless and tasteless (yikes hopefully we never tried tasting slime to find out) it still stays with us the rest of the day unless we implement some tools to return to our most vitalized self.
With all the "Tis the Season", Happy, Merry, family get togethers and holiday festivities upon us, what better way to avoid being at the effect of this toxic behavior, than to watch this week's Smart Sexy TV episode; The Anatomy of Being Slimed.
In this episode we look at the how we unwittingly get slimed, what to do about it, and how to avoid slimers in the future, all delivered in a powerful and playful way.
How does being slimed effect your business and personal life? Want to find more powerful ways to deal with it?
Watch SSTV The Anatomy of Being Slimed.
