Fun For All at
Foundation Fest: Charlotte
Foundation Fest: Charlotte was held on Thursday, October 11th and was fun for everyone who attended. Jimmie answered questions from All-Star Club members, signed autographs and took pictures with each guest. He also recognized Greg Kitsinian, the winner of the 2012 Win A Chevy, Fuel A School raffle (pictured with Jimmie).
Special thanks to our friends at Bojangles, Blue Bunny, Simply Gifted and Pepsi for providing the food and beverages for the event.

Thank You...
The following note was sent by a parent whose children have been impacted by the Jimmie Johnson Foundation/Lowe's Champions Grant program:
"As a parent of two Point Loma High School students, I would like to take this opportunity to "Thank" the Jimmie Johnson Foundation for your generous support of our school. Your contributions are having a direct positive impact on all students at PLHS and enhancing their high school experience!
We recently had our ribbon cutting/dedication of our fitness facilities (with equipment funded by the Jimmie Johnson grant!), this weight room is a "model" for future projects and such an incredible addition to our school!!!
Once again, as a parent I just wanted to extend a thank you for making a difference with our students and community."
Stories like these would not be possible without your support! Keep an eye out for more notes of gratitude in future newsletters.
