You'll be doing flips when you meet Flipper! Flipper, aka My Dog Flipper, is a 5-year-old brindle male born on October 11, 2008. Flipper's sire is Maryville Rumble and his dam is N's Sky High. Flipper has a long career of 192 races on record at Greyhound-data.com, starting in May 2010 and finishing up in August 2013. He was a grade A racer who raced at several tracks in several states. Talk about ready for retirement!

Flipper should not live with cats.

Flipper LOVES his toys, he has a favorite that he carries almost everywhere that will go with him to his new home if it survives. He plays quite calmly though, mostly preferring to walk thru the house with a toy in his mouth, drop it randomly and then go get another... walk around drop that one and go get another...my house looks like there has been a toy box explosion!!

Outside he tosses and shakes toys and is more energetic, and loves to catch a toy tossed to him. I think he would enjoy a yard for this reason.

He is very velcro and wants to know what you are doing and where you are going. He will likely steal food if you are not paying attention and will countersurf, but he is responsive to a stern "No" and is getting much better.

For the first few days he was very shy and standoffish but now he's coming out of his shell. He likes my 8 year old daughter but if he lives with children they need to respect his space. 

He has started roaching, and has full run of the house when we are home. He is very respectful of the other dogs spaces. His foster brother laid down on a dog bed with him twice now and they seemed okay with each other for a short time. He is excellent in the car - very quiet and calm and doesn't jump on people.
Flipper is a wonderful easy boy waiting for his forever home!
