Have you seen sweet little Claudia? Claudia is a 16-month-old dark brindle female. She and Clarice joined the GALT family after their owner  in Oklahoma decided they would not be good rabbit-chasing dogs. Claudia originally tested positive to Ehrlichia but has finished her medical procedures and is ready to find her forever home! Come meet this petite cutie-pie! Claudia is living with cats in her foster home.
You will love this adorable petite girl. Miss Claudia is very quiet and will let you spend all day hugging and cuddling with her. Claudia walks well on a leash and sits beautifully - she is quite food motivated. She is also my little sun worshiper. She has a spot in my house that has sun for many hours of the day. That is where my little couch potato is on sunny days.
Claudia is great with the cats. She will try to engage them in play but they just aren't having any part of that. She is very happy with toys - fluffy, squeaky ones.

Join GALT for our 2014 Greyt Retired Athletes Benefit Dinner and Auction to support our "No Grey Turned Away" mission. Purchase tickets for $125 per person or secure a table of 10 for $1,250. Your ticket provides a seated, three course dinner with a choice of III Forks' famous Chateaubriand or salmon with a vegetarian entree available. You'll also get two beer/wine tickets at dinner.

NORTH TEXAS IRISH FESTIVAL
 This year GALT will be at the North Texas Irish Festival again - an event that does not disappoint! Held at Fair Park, this year's festival is March 1 & 2 and the theme is That's right - the whole festival is dog themed this year to promote the Celtic canine! This means we are looking for volunteers, both 2 and 4-legged, to come out and participate in GALT's booth in the Centennial Building.
Available shifts:  Friday Feb. 28 - 1:30pm (set up)
Sat. March 1 from 11am-2pm
Sat. March 1 from 2pm-5pm
Sun. March 2 from 11am-2pm
Sun. March 2 from 2pm-5pm (at 5pm we will break down the booth)
