This is the last weekend for GALT's Holidays for the Hounds store!
Please join us for our Christmas celebration with delicious refreshments at the store on Sunday from 1-4pm. We'll hold the drawing for the wonderful array of raffle prizes at the end of the holiday party on Sunday.
 The store will be offering terrific Black Friday deals all weekend, including wonderful specials on leashes, shirts, stuffie toys, and more! The store is open from 10-6 on Friday and Saturday, and from 11-5 on Sunday.
Appointment slots for Photos with Santa are still available, so sign up for your preferred time! Mark of Shagly Photography will be rocking the camera shutter with Santa Lin on Saturday and Sunday from 1-5pm.
Suzanne Burke will be on hand on Sunday (12/1) from 1-5pm to sign copies of " Logan's Secret" and her newest release, " Logan and the Mystical Collar"! You will also get to meet Phoenix, Logan's cousin during the event. Come meet the new Star character in her next book, which is currently in development. Her books make great Christmas gifts for children and adults, especially for those who own greyhounds! Phoenix and Suzanne are excited to meet everyone!

Gift Wrapping, Benefitting GALT
GALT volunteers will be wrapping packages and spreading the word about Greyhound adoption at the Plano Barnes & Noble on 15th Street on Nov. 30, Dec. 15, and Dec. 20. Proceeds will go toward GALT medical bills. Click here for more info or to volunteer!

From December 1 to 31, the purchase of all apparel items - will result in a direct donation to GALT. There will also be some surprise pop-up sales so watch GALT's Facebook page for those as they won't last long!

GALT Joins the National GivingTuesday Movement To Encourage Spending With A Purpose
GALT has joined GivingTuesday, an effort that will harness the collective power of charities, families, businesses and individuals to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. GivingTuesday intends to inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities and to give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they support. It takes place on December 3, 2013 - the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
GALT is asking you to show your support by donating to the Miss Mesa Fund on Tuesday, December 3rd. Contributions to this fund are used to pay the cost of medical care for those GALT greyhounds with special medical needs.
