 Adama can't wait to meet you! Adama, aka Admiral Adama, is a 4-year-old white and black male born August 27, 2009. His sire is Uno Joel and his dam is Dharma Blair. Adama has 125 races on record at Greyhound-data.com, all at Gulf Greyhound Park in Texas. He started on July 2, 2011 and finished on July 11, 2013.
This big, handsome boy should not live with cats.
Adama has 3 loves in life: meal time, treats, and squeaky toys (maybe followed by looking at his own reflection). His skills include, but are not limited to: catching a squeaky toy mid air, chattering loudly (sounds like chomping), and learning quickly. He's getting used to all of the household sounds and routines and will sleep through the night and wake you up promptly around 6am by chewing on his squeakies.
He's walking very politely on the gentle leader. Once he's in the crate he's good, although he's not a huge fan of going into the crate.

Pictures are from 1-5pm on weekends and appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted! We will have 2 Santas: Santa Charles will be there the first 2 weekends and Santa Lin will be there the last weekend. Come on out, shop, bring your hounds, and have fun! The Holiday Party will be on December 1st from 1-5pm. |

GALT Joins the National GivingTuesday Movement To Encourage Spending With A Purpose
GALT has joined GivingTuesday, a first of its kind effort that will harness the collective power of a unique blend of partners-charities, families, businesses and individuals-to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. Coinciding with the Thanksgiving Holiday and the kickoff of the holiday shopping season, GivingTuesday intends to inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities and to give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they support. It takes place on December 3, 2013 - the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
GALT is asking you to show your support by donating to the Miss Mesa Fund on Tuesday, December 3rd. Contributions to this fund are used to pay the cost of medical care for those GALT greyhounds with special medical needs.
