holiday shopping done in one place! This year's schedule will be as follows: November 16th 10-6; November 17th 11-5; November 23rd 10-6; November 24th 11-5; November 29th (Black Friday) 10 - 6; November 30th 10-6; and December 1st 11-5 (GALT Holiday Party from 1-5).
Pictures with Santa will be from 1-5 on Saturdays and Sundays and we are asking for appointments to be made in advance. Walk-ins are welcome but may have to wait. We will have 2 Santas (from the last 2 years). Santa Charles will be there the first 2 weekends and Santa Lin will be there the last weekend. Photos by Shagly Photography.

November 7 - December 19 from 7:40-8:40pm
Taught by Mary Waugh Swindle; topics will include, sit, down, leave it, no jumping, food stealing, crate training/separation anxiety and more! Class is limited to 8 participants and pre-registration is a must! $120 per dog/handler duo. Register here!

INCOMING DOGS
Gypsy is a 5½-year-old red female born in April 2008. Gypsy was surrendered to GALT by an elderly owner who could not take care of her anymore. Her right ear tattoo is 48D, but her left ear tattoo that holds the litter number is unreadable. Gypsy is heartworm positive and will begin treatment soon.
Whisper, aka R's Whisper Girl, is a 3-year-old red female born August 2, 2010. Her dam is Gable Pimiento and her sire is Rhythmless, making her half sibling to Milady who was adopted early this year . Whisper has 80 races on record from April 24, 2012 to September 14, 2013, all at Gulf Greyhound Park except for the first race which was in Abilene. She suffered a plantar ligament tear while training on October 29th, and is scheduled for evaluation and surgery at the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center on Friday, November 1st.
Trigger, aka Atascocita Trig, is a 1½-year-old blue fawn male born December 27, 2011. His sire is Atascocita Leroy and his dam is Atascocita Gayla. Trigger has 36 races on record from May 26, 2013 to October 25, 2013, all at Gulf Greyhound Park. He suffered a broken calcaneus bone in his leg, and will be scheduled for evaluation and surgery at the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center.
DiNozzo, aka Eddie Gallo, is a 4-year-old white & brindle male born May 30, 2009. His sire is Castor Troy and his dam is Dobbs Fairy. DiNozzo has 168 races on record from May 25, 2011 to October 24, 2013, all at Gulf Greyhound Park. Talk about being ready for retirement!
