golf

Do you play golf? Do you know someone who does? Perhaps your friend, relative, or co-worker does. Forward this eNews to them and see if they'd like to participate in GALT's first ever Greyt Golf Fundraiser Tournament! Teams of 4 are being formed, so don't wait! Everybody knows somebody who golfs - get them involved! Or, for entertainment's sake, form a team of amateurs and make it interesting - who knows? Maybe someone will go pro!

The format is shotgun start and a four player shamble. Everyone uses the team's best drive, then plays their own ball. Team uses score of the best player on that hole. The event includes lunch, range balls, greens fee, cart fee, contests, dinner, t-shirt, goodie bag, team photos, raffle tickets, and more! Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place - two flights. Longest drive, hole-in-one, closest to the pin and many more prizes will be awarded as well.

Still not sure? Help elsewhere:

  • playing in the shamble can be the most exciting way to help - no you don't need a single digit handicap to have a great time or win a prize. Donation for an individual player is $125, a team of four is $500.
  • volunteering the day of the shamble is great fun for those that chose not to play
  • becoming a sponsor
  • making a direct cash donation
  • making a donation for the raffle and/or auction
  • contact your family, friends and co-workers who might want to participate or be a sponsor.
