Greetings!
It's almost time to say good-bye to 2012. Have you finished all of your last-minute tax planning? This is a GREYT time to make cash or in-kind donations to GALT! Here are some ways you can help the hounds-- and generate charitable deductions for that next tax return:
- Make a general donation to GALT -- or a holiday donation in honor of friends or family members. For the latter, we will send a nice holiday card to the persons you designate. Just include "snail mail" addresses for the recipients and GALT will take care of the rest.
- Make a Stocking Stuffer donation and help some of your favorite Available or Injured Reserve hounds by providing money for holiday treats and toys.
- Sponsor, donate or purchase tickets to the Greyt Gala on February 23rd. See below for more details.
Tax receipts will be provided for all of the above. Your continuing support of GALT is deeply appreciated. Best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season!

STOCKING STUFFERS
 It's time to stuff stockings again this year! Each GALT greyhound has a stocking - help us fill them with goodies for Christmas! Just five $5 donations will send a bag of treats to a GALT greyhound. The more donations a hound gets, the more stuff will go in their stocking. Let's make sure every greyhound gets some treats! |

Bright plants are a staple of the holiday season, but which ones could be dangerous to your dogs?
- Poinsettias - mildly toxic/irritating - may cause nausea or vomiting
- Mistletoe & Holly - moderately to severely toxic - contact your vet if ingested
- Daffodil bulbs - moderately to severely toxic
- Christmas tree - mildly toxic/irritating - may cause drooling or vomiting
