Summer Food Program 2012 Report
|
The 2012 Summer Food Service Program wa s a great success! Thanks to generous donations from our business partners, we raised $61,000 in mini-grant funds. These funds helped 19 organizations across the state feed more kids by opening new meal sites or extending their hours of operation. For the first time in history every county in Oregon had at least one summer food program. What a fantastic milestone!

The 2013 Summer Meals Campaign is in full swing. Every year, tens of thousands of Oregon's children are at risk of hunger during the summer months. The Summer Food Service Program provides kids with a nutritious lunch in a safe environment, and a chance to be with their friends. Some sites offer breakfast as well.
Your donation to the mini-grant fund will help provide food, fun, and community for Oregon's kids. Donate online or visit our website for more information.
