Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon

APPLY NOW for grants to help feed kids in afterschool settings!

Are you currently operating the At-Risk Afterschool Meal and Snack Program and could use some additional support to expand your program or increase participation? Or, are you thinking of starting a program in your area? Oregon has one-time grant funds available to help afterschool sponsors cover the start-up and expansion costs for the At-Risk Afterschool Meal and Snack Program (AMSP).

Since July, more than 1/3 of the total available grant funds have been dispersed (submit your application soon!). Requests for funds can be up to $10,000 per organization. Applications are being received from July 1, 2012 - February 28, 2013, or until all grant funds have been expended.

Visit www.oregonhunger.org/afterschoolgrants for more information and to apply.

The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) Child Nutrition Programs has contracted with Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon to administer the grants and provide outreach support to sponsors.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
