"How to be one of the Melty Misfits" Poster
Continuing my homage to Garbage Pail Kids, this full-color poster is based on the old "How to Be a Garbage Pail Kid" poster. The painting was done with acrylic and airbrush on paper, just like the old original paintings for GPKs. This poster is printed in full color on glossy 18x24" paper. "10 Years" Print
To create this one, Buff sat down and did an ink drawing based on a painting he did 10 years ago. The art was scanned in and all the colors were separated before it was sent to the printer. The printer mixed special inks to match Buff's unique colors, and printed the edition on nice thick paper.
"10 Years" is 5 colors on 18" x 24" rag paper and is signed (dated 2011) and numbered out of 100.

"Eye of the Serpent" PrintBuff Monster and Brian Ewing originally collaborated on a Faith No More poster. For this edition, they reworked the artwork, adding in some more elements. The Melty Misfits - Series 2
by Buff Monster
Buff Monster's loveable Melty Misfits are back for a second series! Series 2 features 41 NEW characters, all hand-painted using acrylic and airbrush on watercolor paper. We've gone to great lengths to create the highest quality homage to Garbage Pail Kids possible. The cards are offset printed using custom-mixed inks on custom-made sticker stock, kiss-cut and packaged in a vintage-style wax wrapper. The backs of the cards feature puzzles and checklists. The backs of the NEW foil cards feature reproductions of the pencil sketches used to paint the cards.
Each unopened box contains a complete set (#31-71 a+b), along with special inserts such as signed cards, variants, errors and a poster. New for Series 2, unopened boxes also contain several foil cards, a lenticular (3D) card and a gold and black card. Some boxes have original sketch cards, and two boxes will have the Golden Ticket (redeemable for an original painting by Buff Monster).

Buff Monster's "Get It On" 5-inch Plush Figure
(Neon Monster Edition) Buff Monster has gone soft. Don't worry, he's still sending out questionable twitpics and painting naked bodies; it's just his latest toy is plush. The 5-inch figure continues Buff's exploration of his signature character in a new medium. While the toy has a nice, soft tactile quality, its firm base (with a ring of hard nubs) ensures that it stands at attention. The Neon Monster colorway is grey with duotone pink, black and white embroidered detailing. From the rear view, embroidered text in a familiarly Buff font implores you to "GET IT ON".
