Greetings!
It was a pleasure meeting you at SPBT! Even though you may not have been able to attend my session at SPBT, I wanted to provide you some information regarding the Personal Leadership "Pilgrimage" Workshop we reviewed at the Conference. Pilgrims believed that through their sacrifice in journeying to distant lands, they would gain new insights and knowledge that would improve their lives. To achieve our full potential, each of us must embark on a similar pilgrimage of personal development and mastery. However, in today's world, we are often so bombarded by day-to-day pressures that we don't stop and reflect on what is our own unique role and purpose. Discovering this is akin to a personal pilgrimage in self leadership. During our workshop participants begin or re-engage themselves in a life-long personal "pilgrimage" that helps them to: - Anchor to Core Values
- Create a Personal / Professional Guiding Compass
- Focus on What is Important
- Plan an Effective Course to achieve aspirations
- Adapt and Persevere to overcome obstacles
- Become Servant Leader
- Communicate to motivate and inspire
- Celebrate small and large victories
During a full day version of this workshop, participants develop a personalized "credential" that serves as a reminder of these important lessons and a guide for achieving personal, team and organizational excellence. Paraphrasing Gandhi: If you have the belief that you can do it, you shall surely acquire the capacity to do it, even if' you may not have it today! Only by developing the discipline to focus on your aspirations (compass) while staying securely anchored to your values will you overcome the obstacles that are, or may, get in the way of achieving your full potential! The workshop is like an inward "pilgrimage" that helps you to rediscover your full potential and will help you to embark on your lifelong journey of self discovery, service and achievement! It would be a pleasure to share this workshop with your organization, network, teams, associates, community groups, etc. Please contact us to organize this workshop for your teams, or email us a referral of a group or individual who may be interested in completing the workshop. As they say on the Way of St. James: "Buen Camino" or Good Journey! |
