The new FHA 4000.1 Hud hand book review class came into effect September 14, 2015. This class is based on the new HUD 4000.1 handbook and reviews the Appraisal Section B as well as 2015 FHA webinar information and appraiser requirements. Discussion on changes and "inspection" expectations will be covered.

Appraising Manufactured Homes

This course will identify and provide information and resources for appraising manufactured homes. The course will identify and define types of factory built housing, provide examples of building codes and compliance certificates, and distinguish between Mobile, Manufactured, Modular or Site Built construction. The course will discuss consumer demand, lending guidelines, and information required to understand and evaluate construction materials and foundation systems. The course will provide additional information and resources for estimating replacement costs and analyzing and supporting adjustments in typical appraisal approaches.
