Our Connect Event takes place on Sunday at the South Fort Collins site at 12:30 p.m. It's for those seeking to join a Life Group and meet some leaders who can provide insight about their Life Group. The Lenten season is coming up, which is a great time to join a Life Group.

Feed My Starving Children
On Friday, March 3, students, families and Life Groups can join the Feed My Starving Children event that provides up to 500,000 meals to children located in over 65 countries. You can make a difference by signing up for a two-hour packing session and volunteering to measure and scoop ingredients, seal bags and prepare boxes.

Baby Bottle Campaign
We've partnered with Alpha Center of Fort Collins and the Pregnancy Resource Center of Greeley to take part in a "Baby Bottle Campaign." Both organizations offer free services and education related to sexual health to anyone and everyone. Please pick up a bottle as you exit the South Fort Collins or Greeley sites and fill it with loose change. Return it by Sunday, Feb. 26, and depending on which site you worship, your monies will greatly support one of these organizations.

Come buy your little ones a heart-warming Valentine gift. Purchase a book for toddlers through elementary-aged children in the South Fort Collins Lower Atrium (near Connect Coffee Shop) this Sunday. Thank you for supporting Redeemer's Early Childhood Center.

Concordia Seminary Choir
The Concordia Seminary Choir, "Laudamus," will be in concert at the South Fort Collins site as part of their spring tour on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m. The choir will sing an eclectic program of music representing the church's song from many different genres. Read more.

Faith & Family Hockey Game
Support Redeemer's K-9 Comfort Dog Cubby and enjoy an Eagles hockey game on Sunday, March 12 at 3:05 p.m. For every ticket sold, the Eagles give a portion of the proceeds to Cubby. LifeLight to Launch New Study in February
At the South Fort Collins site on February 15 at 6 p.m. and February 16 at 9 a.m., we are launching a new LifeLight Bible Study on the Old Testament minor prophets called Hosea, Joel and Amos. Can't make it? On Fri day mornings, there are classes for men a nd women. At the Greeley site, we offer our LifeGroup Bible Study the first and third Thursday of the month.

Ash Wednesday is March 1
On Wednesday, March 1, Redeemer will offer its All-Church Ash Wednesday worship services at noon and 7:15 p.m. at the South Fort Collins site. Our service features the Lord's Supper and optional imposition of ashes (a cross-shaped ash marking on the forehead) to remind us of death, sin and of the need for Christ's transforming love. Midweek services continue for five additional weeks at noon & 7:15 p.m. at the South Fort Collins site.

Knowing the Real Jesus
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, March 1. This year, our Lenten all-church study will be based on Philip Yancey's book, "The Jesus I Never Knew." It will follow our sermon series on weekends and be featured in our Life Group Guides. Beginning the weekend of February 18 & 19, you will have the opportunity to purchase the book for $12 and get involved with your Life Group.

Quilting Day Coming
The Lutheran World Relief (LWR) quilting group invites you to its annual LWR Churchwide Quilting Day to help meet a goal of 275 quilts. It will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the South Fort Collins sitel. Want to sew at home? Sign-out a quilt kit at either site this weekend. Sign up by clicking here.

Food Bank Senior Delivery
Delivery of food boxes to senior residents and stocking their onsite food pantry at the Chinook Wind and Twin Rivers Apts. at 6622 W 10 St., Greeley, Saturday, Feb. 25 at 9:30 a.m. This is a monthly service commitment to the same residents. Read more and sign up.

Our next baptism class is Tuesday, Feb. 14 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. It's geared to parents seeking to baptize their newborns or young children, as well as older children and adults who would like to be baptized. February Redeemed & Retired
The Redeemer & Retired group meets at the South Fort Collins site on Wednesday, Feb. 15 for a noon potluck lunch in the Fellowship Hall followed by a presentation. The speaker this month is Karen Schutte who will talk about her book, "Tank Commander," and the harrowing struggles of a WWII Sherman Tank Commander. Books will be available for purchase.

Attending GriefShare Can Help
GriefShare is for men and women recovering from the death of a loved one. Our GriefShare Support Group begins Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the South Fort Collins site and continues weekly for 13 consecutive weeks. Read more and register.

Scientists, Engineers & Creative People
On Wednesday, March 29, Redeemer Early Childhood Center will host its Science Exploration day. We are looking for volunteers to run stations with different science experiments, engineering and math exploration. All welcome and needed! Confirmation Meetings for 8th-Graders & Parents
Our Eighth Grade Confirmand Meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. at the South Fort Collins site and Sunday, Feb. 19 at 11 a.m. at the Greeley site. This meeting will help you and your confirmand prepare for the next steps of Confirmation and what to expect on Confirmation Weekend, May 6 & 7. This meeting is mandatory. Seeking plastic prefilled Easter eggs, goodies and toy donations for our upcoming Easter egg hunts at both sites. Items should fit inside a plastic Easter egg and all candy needs to be wrapped. (Easter-themed stickers, small toys, or wrapped candy.) Drop off at a NextGen Check-In booth at either site or the church offices during business hours.

Habitat for Humanity Paraguay Trip Opportunity
Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity is excited to partner with Thrivent Financial to lead an international build trip to Paraguay from July 2 to July 9 in Asuncion. It's for those 16 years and older. While this is not a Redeemer short-term mission trip offering, you will still get a great opportunity to build a Habitat home for a Paraguayan teacher in the capital city of Asuncion. Larimer Chorale Concert
We are grateful to Bohemian Foundation for sponsoring our 40th Anniversary Concert, "How Can We Keep From Singing?" Together with the Centennial Children's Chorus, guest soloists, and the Larimer Chorale Orchestra, the Chorale will perform a wide variety of choral music including John Rutter's marvelous Mass of the Children, James Mulholland's arrangement of How Can I Keep From Singing, and a new work, called CLIMB, commissioned specifically for the Chorale from internationally-known composer Jake Runestad.
