Marriage Enrichment Retreat

Register for Redeemer's Marriage Enrichment Retreat held on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Held at the MacKenzie Lodge in Fort Collins, this mini getaway will focus on Christlike dialogue for couples. This February, the month often associated with love, Redeemer is offering couples (engaged or married) weekly emails that will offer an inspirational idea, Scripture, thought or tip on ways to bring unity to your relationship. Called "Words of Wisdom for Marriage," these are available to you by clicking here to sign up.

Souper Bowl of Caring Event

Join in the Souper Bowl of Caring Event & Food Drive. Bring in your grocery sacks filled to the brim this weekend at either site. You'll also have an opportunity to give a monetary donation during worship this weekend and depending on which site you worship, monies will go to the Larimer or Weld County food banks.

Baby Bottle Campaign

We've partnered with Alpha Center of Fort Collins and the Pregnancy Resource Center of Greeley to take part in a "Baby Bottle Campaign." Both organizations offer free services and education related to sexual health to anyone and everyone. Please pick up a bottle as you exit the South Fort Collins or Greeley sites and fill it with loose change. Return it by Sunday, Feb. 26, and depending on which site you worship, your monies will greatly support one of these organizations.

Deadline is January 31 for Student Summer Mission Trips

Summer mission trip registration for middle and high school students in underway. The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, Jan. 31. These life-changing, Christ-centered trips are a great way to connect students to God, each other and communities.

Help to Feed the Homeless

Serve those who are hungry at the Weld County Guadalupe Community Center & Shelter, 1442 N 11th Avenue, Greeley on Friday, Feb. 10, 5 p.m. This is the only shelter in Weld County that provides services to single individuals as well as families. Sign up by emailing Karon Kendrick.

Quilting Day Coming

The Lutheran World Relief (LWR) quilting group invites you to its annual LWR Churchwide Quilting Day to help meet a goal of 275 quilts. Concordia Seminary Choir

LifeLight to Launch New Study in February

At the South Fort Collins site on February 15 at 6 p.m. and February 16 at 9 a.m., we are launching a new LifeLight Bible Study on the Old Testament minor prophets called Hosea, Joel and Amos. Can't make it? On Friday mornings, there are classes for men and women. At the Greeley site, we offer our LifeGroup Bible Study the first and third Thursday of the month.

Faith & Family Hockey Game

Support Redeemer's K-9 Comfort Dog Cubby and enjoy an Eagles hockey game on Sunday, March 12 at 3:05 p.m. For every ticket sold, the Eagles give a portion of the proceeds to Cubby. Knowing the Real Jesus

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, March 1. This year, our Lenten all-church study will be based on Philip Yancey's book, "The Jesus I Never Knew." It will follow our sermon series on weekends and be featured in our Life Group Guides. Beginning Sunday, Feb. 19, you will have the opportunity to purchase the book for $12 and grow alongside your family and Life Group members.

2017 Altar Flower & Fellowship Donut Dedication Sign-Ups

As part of our weekend worship experience at the South Fort Collins site, you can dedicate altar flowers or fellowship donuts in memory of a loved one or for a special occasion. Greeley NextGen Kids is Seeking Your Help

We are currently looking for people who would love to provide a safe and loving atmosphere for children from infants to three years old during our Sunday worship service. This is a paid position. Next Baptism Class

Our next baptism class is Tuesday, Feb. 14 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. It's geared to parents seeking to baptize their newborns or young children, as well as older children and adults who would like to be baptized. February Redeemed & Retired

The Redeemer & Retired group meets at the South Fort Collins site on Wednesday, Feb. 15 for a noon potluck lunch in the Fellowship Hall followed by a presentation. The speaker this month is Karen Schutte who will talk about her book, "Tank Commander," and the harrowing struggles of a WWII Sherman Tank Commander. Books will be available for purchase.

February Redeemed & Retired

GriefShare is for men and women recovering from the death of a loved one. Our GriefShare Support Group begins Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the South Fort Collins site and continues weekly for 13 consecutive weeks. Read more and register.

Students at South Fort Collins Site Explore Faith Topics

Continuing this Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at the South Fort Collins site, middle school students will start "The Master Storyteller," which challenges teenagers to love others and live each day as a follower of Jesus Christ in their homes, schools, neighborhoods and communities. At the same time, high school students will study Timothy Keller's "The Reason for God." Come and learn how to talk to others about the skepticism of Christianity.

Confirmation Meetings for 8th-Graders & Parents

Our Eighth Grade Confirmand Meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. at the South Fort Collins site and Sunday, Feb. 19 at 11 a.m. at the Greeley site. This meeting will help you and your confirmand prepare for the next steps of Confirmation and what to expect on Confirmation Weekend, May 6 & 7. This meeting is mandatory. S'more Fun & Fellowship

Join us on Feb. 25 & 26 during our NextGen Kids time. We'll have an ooey, gooey S'more treat, sing praise songs around a fire pit and learn about a God...who loves us s'more than we know! Journey to the Cross is an experiential walk that helps kids better understand the last week of Jesus' life. Would you like to help? We are seeking "Station Actors" for both sites. Can you donate Easter egg goodies or toys?

Seeking plastic prefilled Easter eggs, goodies and toy donations for our upcoming Easter egg hunts at both sites. Items should fit inside a plastic Easter egg and all candy needs to be wrapped. (Easter-themed stickers, small toys, or wrapped candy.) Drop off at a NextGen Check-In booth at either site or the church offices during business hours.

VBS Leaders Needed at Both Sites for Summer 2017

This year's Vacation Bible School theme is Maker Fun Factory where kids will learn they were created by God and built for a purpose! If you want to get involved in this over-the-top adventure, we are looking for leaders for both Redeemer sites. Click here to learn more and sign up.

Feed My Starving Children

On March 3 & 4, you, your family or your Life Group can join the Feed My Starving Children event that will provide up to 500,000 meals to children around the world. You can make a difference by contributing financially, signing up for a two-hour packing session, or both. During a 2-hour packing session, volunteers measure and scoop ingredients, seal bags and prepare boxes for shipping to over 65 countries. Donations cover 100 percent of food costs. Older Adult & Caregiver Teleconference: Transitions

Transition can be difficult for all of us. For older adults, change can seem particularly intimidating and overwhelming. In some cases, resistance to change can go beyond a healthy unease for the unknown, and can affect our older loved ones' safety and well-being. On February 8 at noon, learn tips to carefully address resistance and to clearly communicate the importance of change.

We have many personal lost-and-found items in the South Fort Collins Church Office. If you have lost an item recently, come and check with us. More general items, such as mittens or gloves, scarves, books and children's belongings are in the lost & found basket in the Coat Room along with several coats.
