Souper Bowl of Caring Event

Join in the Souper Bowl of Caring Event & Food Drive. Bring in your grocery sacks filled to the brim this weekend at either site. You'll also have an opportunity to give a monetary donation during worship this weekend and depending on which site you worship, monies will go to the Larimer or Weld County food banks.

Baby Bottles
Baby Bottle Campaign

We've partnered with Alpha Center of Fort Collins and the Pregnancy Resource Center of Greeley to take part in a "Baby Bottle Campaign." Both organizations offer free services and education related to sexual health to anyone and everyone. Please pick up a bottle as you exit the South Fort Collins or Greeley sites and fill it with loose change. Return it by Sunday, Feb. 26, and depending on which site you worship, your monies will greatly support one of these organizations.

Summer mission trip registration for middle and high school students in underway. The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, Jan. 31. These life-changing, Christ-centered trips are a great way to connect students to God, each other and communities.

At the South Fort Collins site on February 15 at 6 p.m. and February 16 at 9 a.m., we are launching a new LifeLight Bible Study on the Old Testament minor prophets called Hosea, Joel and Amos. Can't make it? On Friday mornings, there are classes for men and women. At the Greeley site, we offer our LifeGroup Bible Study the first and third Thursday of the month.

Knowing the Real Jesus

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, March 1. This year, our Lenten all-church study will be based on Philip Yancey's book, "The Jesus I Never Knew." It will follow our sermon series on weekends and be featured in our Life Group Guides. The speaker this month is Karen Schutte who will talk about her book, "Tank Commander," and the harrowing struggles of a WWII Sherman Tank Commander. Books will be available for purchase.

Book Study
Students at South Fort Collins Site Explore Faith Topics

Continuing this Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at the South Fort Collins site, middle school students will start "The Master Storyteller," which challenges teenagers to love others and live each day as a follower of Jesus Christ in their homes, schools, neighborhoods and communities. At the same time, high school students will study Timothy Keller's "The Reason for God." Come and learn how to talk to others about the skepticism of Christianity.

Confirmation Meetings for 8th-Graders & Parents

Our Eighth Grade Confirmand Meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. at the South Fort Collins site and Sunday, Feb. 19 at 11 a.m. at the Greeley site. This meeting will help you and your confirmand prepare for the next steps of Confirmation and what to expect on Confirmation Weekend, May 6 & 7. This meeting is mandatory. Feed My Starving Children
Feed My Starving Children

On March 3 & 4, you, your family or your Life Group can join the Feed My Starving Children event that will provide up to 500,000 meals to children around the world. You can make a difference by contributing financially, signing up for a two-hour packing session, or both. During a 2-hour packing session, volunteers measure and scoop ingredients, seal bags and prepare boxes for shipping to over 65 countries. Donations cover 100 percent of food costs. Transition can be difficult for all of us. For older adults, change can seem particularly intimidating and overwhelming. In some cases, resistance to change can go beyond a healthy unease for the unknown, and can affect our older loved ones' safety and well-being.
