750 Children in Alachua County Received Toys
This Sunday, United Way of North Central Florida hosted another Toys for Tots giveaway for families in Alachua County! More than 750 children will be opening toys during the holidays this year because of the program, which is an ongoing partnership between UWNCFL and the U.S. Marine Corps. The total number of children served this year is a 63% increase from last year. We are so pleased and fulfilled because we were able to serve so many more children to ensure they have a very happy holiday season.

Special thanks to PODS for providing us with storage for the giveaway. We so appreciate their generosity.

We'd also like to thank Sgt. Eric Kidwell of the US Marine Corps Reserve, Books A Million, SiVance, UF's Pi Beta Phi, the UF Office of Real Estate, Regions Bank, Gainesville International Christian Church, Junior League, Enterprise Holdings, Youthbuild, O2B Kids, Koss Olinger, Claudia Cometa of Rodan & Fields, Tracey Keenom of Liberty Air, Pete Mejia of Nationwide and our wonderful United Way of North Central Florida staff. We couldn't have serviced so many local children without all of your help!

Our Small Business Partners are an important, growing family of donors, who are vital to helping us meet the needs of our community.
