Entering into its fourth year, the ReadingPals initiative gives students the tools they need for success. This program has reported a 17% increase in performance for participating students as opposed to their peers, according to the Discovery Education Assessments in reading. With all this success, United Way of North Central Florida needs to continue pushing boundaries and encouraging more students to grow and succeed in their education.
There are still 75 children who need to be matched with a mentor!
