MAPCS Online Training

Moving from Passive to Active Learning

How can instructors design activities to encourage active learning and reap the benefits of this approach?

To learn more, consider the online course EL113 - Active Learning in an Online Environment and ED111 - Active Learning Methods available in the MAPCS Online Training Center.

The comment period on the proposed regulations for private post-secondary career schools has been extended to February 21, 2014.

The original deadline to submit written comments was January 10, 2014.
If you were not able to attend one of the two public hearings to testify and did not yet submit comments please do so now.

It is now time to reach out to your elected officials, both local and at the state level.  Please let them know how the proposed regulations will impact your school.

To help you in this effort please refer to the APSCU Grassroots Toolkit.  The letters in the toolkit are specific to gainful employment but you can personalize and make your letter applicable to the attorney general's regulations.

Thanks for your help with this important regulatory issue.  Your support and participation will help the Attorney General understand the value that private post secondary career schools provide the Commonwealth and your students.
