Cascade Cuts Plant Sale.

Saturday, May 18th 

Cascade Cuts Nursery   

632 Montgomery Rd.     

 

Each year Cascade Cuts opens up their wholesale nursery to the public as a fundraiser for the Sustainable Connections Food & Farming Program and it's always a fun event! It also takes a lot of volunteers to pull it off.  Cascade Cuts generously donates a $10 plant certificate to all volunteers and we'll provide coffee and snacks/lunch too!   

 

Volunteers still needed from 9-11, 11-1, and 1-4  

     Parking/Traffic Directors (second and third shifts)
     Helping shoppers get their plants to their cars (all shifts)    

     Cashiers (all shifts) 

     Greenhouse floaters (plant knowledge needed) (last shift) 

parking & cashiers are always our biggest needs  

 

Poster Delivery

We also need volunteers to help us spread the word about the plant sale! Please let us know if you can help deliver posters downtown and Fairhaven this week and next. (days & times are flexible).

Booth at Fairhaven Festival

Sunday, May 26th

  

We'll have a table set-up in Fairhaven on the Village Green all day Sunday. If you'd like to help with the Think Local prize wheel, sell coupon books and shirts, and hand out prizes just let us know what time of day is best. Shifts are 9-11am, 11-1pm, 1-3pm and 3-5pm. We can use two people per shift so bring a friend or your partner.

Whatcom Food & Farm Finder Distribution

Ongoing help needed (times & days are flexible)   

 

We are looking for a couple volunteers that can help about one day a month with Farm Finder outreach and distribution in Glacier and Maple Falls.
