Low Impact Development is now a first choice for designers and regulators. With new stormwater policies and incentives, it is critical for industry professionals to stay ahead of the curve and know what to expect at the permit center. Join Sustainable Connections and the BIAWC for a 2.5 hour workshop to get the dirt on Low Impact Development in Whatcom County. In this workshop attendees will:
- Learn how to participate in the promotional campaign and Whatcom County LID Resource Guide
- Discover Lake Whatcom Best Management Practices
- Find out updates to the Homeowner Incentive Program (HIP) and City of Bellingham LID incentives
- Get technical installation education and discover common installation challenges and mistakes
- Learn about proposed changes to the 2012 Department of Ecology Stormwater Manual
