Let's support the home team!

Our Seattle Mariners are having a great season, so let's show them some love!  Do you need a seat cushion for the games?  Andrea, who works in our PacFab office, designed this fun and functional seat cushion with a handle and a pocket using Mariners cotton. And the way the weather is right now, maybe you'll need some fleece to match!

We know you've been waiting ... mark your calendars for July 19th at 7:10 p.m. for Stitch 'n Pitch!  The Seattle Mariners invite you to enjoy the 12th Annual Stitch 'n Pitch Night at Safeco Field! Bring your knitting, stitching, quilting or other fiber arts projects to the game, get help from the experts, view the latest samples from area shops and meet other enthusiasts all while enjoying Mariners Baseball.  Tickets will be available in our stores soon!
Have you heard about Fiber Love?

Though we're not an LYS (local yarn shop) and we're not on the tour, we want to give a shout out to the 2016 Fiber Love tour of Western Washington!  It started Wednesday, May 18th, and runs through Sunday, May 22nd.  Twenty-eight Local Yarn Shops are participating with extended hours, daily drawings at every shop, with a Grand Prize drawing worth $1500!  Stop into any participating LYS and pick up your official Tour Passport. Visit as many shops as you can! Extended hours will make it even easier.  Stop in to one of our stores while you're out and about, and we'll give you a free reusable tote bag!  Each shop has a free pattern for you, a discounted yarn for that pattern, a 2016 LYS pin in limited supply, and a daily drawing for a bag o' goodies worth at least $50.  The more shops you visit, the more chances you'll have to win one of several grand prize drawings.  Click here for more details about Fiber Love!
Armed Forces Day is Saturday, May 21st

Every day at Pacific Fabrics we honor our members of the military with a 10% Discount.  Janet, from our SODO store, was inspired by a post on Pinterest, and so she designed a wreath to hang up in our SODO office.  Janet used 2/3 yard of blue fabric, 1 1/6 yard of red fabric, and 1 yard of white fabric cut into 6-inch strips, then cut to half-width.   She then tied the strips around a wire wreath.  The stars were fused onto a stiff interfacing and then glued on to the fabric.
