PICK UP PARCELS for PETS
In addition to a new home, VHS cats and dogs have lots of holiday wishes! Make their dreams come true when you select an ornament from our Parcels for Pets tree in the VHS lobby. From toys to treats to cash, each VHS animal has their very own ornament with an item from their wish list. Pick out your favorite today, wrap it up and leave it under the tree with their name on it. Or, select one of our sparkly snowflake ornaments to see what your year-end donation can purchase. All gifts are unwrapped for the animals Christmas morning by someone with opposable thumbs. |

START the NEW YEAR as a JUNIOR VOLUNTEER
Make a difference for animals while gaining valuable volunteer experience as a Junior Volunteer. Pet-loving youth ages 10-15 work alongside VHS Humane Education team members on a Friday afternoon Cat Care shift, feeding and cleaning in Kitty City. Sessions for January and February now open. Junior Volunteers costs $100 per person per session and includes a VHS volunteer t-shirt; all training is provided. Space is limited, so download an application and sign up today!
January session: Fridays 1/4, 1/11, 1/18 & 1/25 from 3:30-5 pm

NEW YEAR BRINGS CHANGE to VHS
Imagine a world in which every animal is loved and every person knows the love of an animal...can you? We can! In fact, that's Valley Humane's inspiration for the work we do every day. It's also part of our new identity - an updated vision, mission, and look that we hope will energize and engage our community to help create a brighter future for cats and dogs.
Starting in January 2013, look for our new logo and values to roll out into every aspect of our work, on our website, at the adoption center, here in The Scoop, and beyond!
