VHS SHRED DAYS

 Summer Shred Days

Shred more than just waves this summer! Paddle by VHS with your obsolete documents and take advantage of our Summer Shred Days, Thursday, July 12 from 11 am to 2 pm and Saturday, July 14 from 9 am to 12 noon. Have your obsolete paperwork pulverized on site...not merely shredded or cross cut! It's the most secure disposal method available.

Banker's boxes (or equivalent) are $10 for the first box, and $5 for each additional box. Boxes will be returned. Come early, rain or shine...once the truck fills up, it's gone!

On July 14 we'll be collecting eWaste as well. Drop off all types of electronics, computer equipment, media, and more for free.

MaddiesA BIG WIN WEEKEND FOR PETS

Darcy Dog Adoption PhotoMore than 75 cats and dogs were adopted. from VHS at the Maddie's Matchmaker Adoptathon! They were part of more than 2,600 animals that went home across Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Francisco counties during the June 9-10 weekend event. We know they are already much-loved members of their new families.

As if a happy home for every animal wasn't enough, each adoption generates a grant from Maddie's FundŽ that will allow VHS to rescue even more cats and dogs throughout the year.

Many thanks to the incredible efforts of VHS volunteers who made it all possible, from fostering animals and cleaning kennels, to copying adoption paperwork and greeting visitors with our trademark smile.
