JOIN US FOR A ONE DAY  

CRITTER CAMP 

February 13th OR February 20th 

  

Critter Camp is a hands on humane adventure, teaching kindness, compassion and responsible pet ownership.  Critter Camp will be held at Valley Humane Society, 3670 Nevada Street in Pleasanton.  

February 13th from 10 am - 2 pm     "Be My Valentine"  

February 20th from 10 am - 2 pm    "Dog Show"  

The fee for the one day camps is $50.  To register, please download the  application form and submit it along with your your payment to VHS

 TAKE A PET FIRST AID COURSE 

PET FIRST AID

 

What are the first steps in helping your pet before you can get them to the vet?  Would you know what to do if your cat or dog stopped breathing or started choking?  Come learn the steps of pet rescue in a low-stress, hands on environment at Valley Humane Society on March 4th from 11 am - 2 pm.  Carol Brown from American Safety Academy will cover topics such as how to administer medications, recognizing an emergency, performing CPR and first aid, treating common illnesses and how to stock a first aid kit.  Cost for the course is $50 and advanced registration is required.  For more information and to register for the course click herePlease return your registration form and class fee to VHS ASAP as class space is limited.  

 

CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY AT VHS!

 

Let VHS create a memorable birthday party for your child!  Guests will enjoy a variety of birthday party activities including an interactive humane education exercise, a lesson on the adoption process, a behind the scenes tour of our adoption center, a meet and greet with the stars of Valley Humane Society...our cats and dogs, and a visit with one of our outstanding Canine Comfort dogs.  For more information click here.

VHS Now Offers Boy and Girl Scout Workshops  

 

For Girl Scouts, our 1 1/2 hour interactive workshop called "Think Before You Get a Pet" will fulfill the Girl Scout Petal, Try-it, and Pet Care Badge

Cost - $11.00 per girl scout 

For Boy Scouts, our interactive 2 hour workshop will fulfill the  

Dog Care Merit Badge requirements

Cost - $15.00 per boy scout
