DCI Announces RFP for 2013 Annual Conference Sessions

 

DCI is currently requesting proposals for speakers/sessions for our annual downtown revitalization conference to be held in downtown Grand Junction. We have a new schedule format for 2013: 3-hour session blocks that will include an educational component, a discussion component, and a problem-solving component

. Speakers are asked to submit proposals that include either a session track addressing each of these components for a 3-hour period OR a single session that can be included in a track. Only electronic submissions will be accepted.

RFP: Rural Communities Facing Design Challenges

 

The Citizens' Institute on Rural Design (CIRD) is issuing a request for proposals to rural communities facing design challenges to host local workshops in 2013. Successful applicants will receive a $7,000 grant and in-kind design expertise and technical assistance valued at $35,000. The Request for Proposals is on the new CIRD website: www.rural-design.org.
