Child ID: Dustin Location: Africa
| |
**Grant Available: A Promise Child grant of $9500 is available to help with adoption fees for Dustin's adoption.
A family ( single woman, couples and older parents may apply) is needed immediately to adopt this boy. Dustin is an extraordinarily self-possessed 14 year old teen in Africa who is at the top of his class in school, even though he's the only student in it who is blind. He speaks English well, and enjoys discussing political topics, academic, and social issues with adults. He loves to talk, loves to practice his English, and is genuinely curious about the lives of others, how they live, their countries, etc. He is enjoying learning how to type and use the computer with the help of the assistive technology room. He has a great sense of humor and loves to make jokes and tease. He has the qualities he needs for a full, productive successful life-all he needs now is a permanent, loving family to support him in reaching his goals. A video of part of an interview with him can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrSrp9i1Us0 For more information, please contact: Family Finders

Child ID: Kasen Location: Asia
| |
Kasen will be 5 in September and has a smile that just melts your heart. He has waited far too long for a family to call his own. Our agency has been advocating for him since last October as a child from the shared list and he is now assigned to our individual list so we can focus on him even more. He is basically a healthy, normal child after his surgery for a meningocele. Please won''t you consider him for your family. His update from August, 2013 says the following:
Kasen has normal mentality. He is now at preschool. He can walk and run and climb the stairs. He can dress himself and feed himself. He is out-going, but sometimes a little stubborn.

Child ID: Shane Location: Asia

Isn't Shane a sweetheart? We just love the new photo of him all filled out and looking so healthy! His orphanage staff says little Shane is fairly quietly and some times a little impatient, even the time before drinking milk. At ordinary time, he is very obedient and is very close to the grandmother. He will smile at her as long as he sees her. He likes to watch little brothers and sisters play games very much, as seems that he wants to take part in it. He likes the little rattle toys very much and likes to explore it.
Sounds like he is just missing one thing--- a FAMILY Contact Linda for more information
