Spectacular Time Lapse Dam "Removal" Video October 28, 2011 -- The White Salmon River in Washington State is flowing again as the nearly 100-year-old Condit Dam was disabled with explosives. The reservoir draining took about 2 hours. The event was a significant milestone for river restoration and dam removal nationwide.

EPA recently released a new video that describes how Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department implemented some of the key features of a protective program and how the utility benefited from its enhanced security. Some of the novel security practices described in the video are developing a security scorecard program and hiring a law enforcement official.
