Greetings!
AWRA President Carol Collier recently posted a fun column to the AWRA blog. Not only does she relate her water love story, but she is seeking the stories of others. Read her column then add your story to the discussion. She also posted a piece regarding AWRA's Summer Specialty Conferences on Environmental Flows and Healthy Waters=Healthy Forests. These two conferences run consecutively from June 24-28 in Hartford, CT, and not only offer stellar information and networking opportunities, but also a great way to get involved with national AWRA events. I would also like to restate our ongoing desire to be a better resource for state sections and student chapters. What can AWRAHQ do to make your tasks as a state section or student chapter officer easier? Social media help/training? Membership solicitation and retention help? Meeting ideas? Other? Email me with your group's specific needs. I look forward to hearing from you. |
