Connections
American Water Resources Association (AWRA) Newsletter
Greetings!
Happy December! As we enter into this wish-filled season, AWRA staff wanted to share with you some of our wishes:
- Ken Reid, Executive Vice President: I'm thankful for a loving family, an outstanding, dedicated and caring Board of Directors, and the best and most terrific association staff in our business.
- Mike Kowalski, Director of Operations: I will strive to be the person my dog thinks I am.
- Dick Engberg, Technical Director: To survive another year and remain healthy and productive.
- Pat Reid, Program Coordinator: I wish for good health for everyone, 4-leggeds and 2-leggeds.
- Jacque Towner, Office Manager: I wish that people everywhere (but especially Washington, DC) would embrace cooperation as the virtue that it is.
- Ken Lanfear, JAWRA Editor: I will strive to not be the person my cat thinks I am. (Felines are not big on uncritical acceptance.)
- Christine McCrehin, Membership Services Manager:
I wish to look at hiking, playing barbies and texting with the same enthusiasm as my family members.
What is your wish during this holiday season? Maybe you wish you could discuss a pressing water issue with experts from several fields. Maybe you wish to share your research with others. Maybe you wish to further your education in water resources management.
We can help make your water wishes come true. In everything we do, AWRA works to bring together the thought leaders in water resource management, research and education. You can be a part of everything we do. What better way to make your water wishes come true? Join us!
If you are already an AWRA member, maybe you would like to grant the water wish of someone else. Give the gift of AWRA to a student, colleague or friend!
Until next time, Christine McCrehinEditor, Connections
