Oregon Military Teen Panel with Advisors

Month of the Military Child Thank You's!

April was Month of the Military Child and the highlight of our celebration in Oregon was our First Annual Youth Military Ball!  Thank you to all of the families that attended and thank you to all of the volunteers that supported the event! Earlier that day we also held our first Young Leader's Conference where the Oregon Military Teen Panel worked with 21 youth ages 7-12 to help them Dream bigger, Explore farther, Imagine greater and Discover together.

Throughout the month we also had other wonderful celebrations at JJ Jump and as part of Purple Up Day.  Check out some of our best pics below!

ORMTP Logo Now Accepting Applications for Oregon Military Teen Panel

The Oregon National Guard Child & Youth Program is now accepting applications for the Oregon Military Teen Panel. The Oregon Military Teen Panel (ORMTP) is a group of teens who speak on behalf of military connected youth in Oregon. This group of teens help our staff plan fun events for children and youth as well as help facilitate the events. We participate in a group conference call twice a month and have quarterly planning retreats that are all expenses paid!

See below for the application and flier for the 2014-2015 year. Youth would be serving a two year term from Oct. 1 2014- Sept. 30 2016. If you have any questions please contact Amy Conroy at amy.r.conroy.ctr@mail.mil
