I hope everyone had a fabulous summer and Labor Day weekend. It's hard to believe that summer is about over and we are moving into the cooler months of fall. I'd like to give a warm welcome to all our new patients who have joined the practice over the past few months. I hope you find a home in Hearing, Balance and Speech Center.
I will be away for most of September including a wonderful opportunity to speak at a conference about Tinnitus in Beijing, China. I'm beyond thrilled to travel to a new place and speaking about such a relevant topic. My appearance on the Faith Middleton radio show has been rescheduled for October 20th at 3pm. Please be sure to save the date on your calendar.
Lastly, I'd like to ask a favor of all my patients. On behalf of all my staff, we feel so fortunate to have the wonderful relationships and experiences we do with each and every one of you. If you feel as strongly we encourage you to write a testimonial about HBS Center. We use our testimonials on our website and print advertising and it's a great way for new patients to feel more at ease when they come to us. You can email your testimonial to Michelle Stark-Abbott at mstark@hearingbalance.com. Thank you in advance for your support, it means the world!
Very Best Regards,
Dr. Natan Bauman Ed.D., M.S., Eng., FAAA |

Come visit Hearing, Balance and Speech Center at the following events:
Thursday, September 18th - Career Mentor Match Up Presented by Hear Here Hartford - HLAA of America Hartford Chapter 6pm-8pm Soundbridge, 123 Progress Dr., Wethersfield
The Concept: : Each preteen/teen/young adult with hearing loss will be paired with an adult mentor with hearing loss where the mentor will briefly share information about his/her career for no more than 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, each pair will rotate and each preteen/teen/young adult will be paired with a different adult mentor who will talk about his/her career, and then the process continues until each of the mentors have talked with each of the preteen/teen/young adults. The idea is to learn about possible career paths and to be inspired by our amazing group of mentors and role models representing many different careers. If you are interested in being a mentor or mentee contact Terry Bedard at tbedard40@aol.com.
