Marketing Workshop

Tuesday, March 12th

7:30 am -9:00 am

Contrary to popular belief, marketing doesn't have to cost a lot or take up a great deal of time.  The most effective marketing strategies maximize opportunities you already have.  Learn how to couple traditional and non-traditional marketing strategies to achieve broad results.  Understand the value of relationship building and how to turn those connections into business.  Whether you are selling a product or service, are a large business or a small company, you'll leave with practical marketing tools and an action plan to implement reality marketing in your organization.

Because of the recent reapportionment, citizens in Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry counties are now represented by a new group of congressmen in Washington. U.S. Representatives Lou Barletta, Charlie Dent, Tom Marino, and Scott Perry each serve constituencies within the Chamber & CREDC's tri-county footprint. All four congressmen have agreed to participate in a question-and-answer based forum on Monday, March 4 from 8:00-10:00am at the Radisson Hotel Harrisburg. The purpose of the event is to not only provide our members with an opportunity to interact with their lawmakers, but to reassure our congressmen that the business community is interested and engaged in what goes on in Washington. This is a rare and special opportunity to connect with and meet our entire delegation. Hope to see you there!
Date: Monday, March 4th
Time: 8:00a.m. - 10:00a.m.
Location: Radisson Hotel Harrisburg, 1150 Camp Hill Bypass, Camp Hill

During the casework day, representatives from Barletta's staff will be available to help residents who need assistance with federal-related issues, including problems with federal agencies and programs. Residents are encouraged to bring any relevant documents they may have.

Please note, the constituent service being provided is only available to those Perry County residents who live in the 11th Congressional District, which includes Duncannon, Marysville and the townships of Carroll, Penn, Rye, Spring and Wheatfield.

An outdoor tradition debuts in Central Pennsylvania this year with the birth of WQLV's American Outdoorsman Sports Show, Thursday March 21 to Sunday March 24 at the Carlisle Expo Center in Carlisle PA. Show times are Thursday thru Saturday 10am to 7pm, and Sunday Noon- 5 pm, admission is $10 and children younger than 12 are admitted free with a paying adult.
The American Outdoorsman Sport Show came to be after public outcry for someone to host a common sense sportsman expo that recognizes the right of every United States of America citizen. The goal is to showcase the latest outdoor sports equipment, techniques and expeditions. It is our sincere hope that this show will help the Harrisburg metro area and vendors recoup some of the lost revenue from the cancelled February 2013 sport show.

The list of vendors and guests continues to grow. For more information, visit our website at www.AOSShow.com or find us on Facebook.com/AmericanOutdoorsmanSportShow
